Thankful

From September to January this is what our life is about :) I am not a sports fan AT ALL but we have season tickets with Jon's parents and I go because Jon loves it. I do have to admit that it is slowly growing on me. I've always loved the Clemson campus and spent most of my weekends there while Jon and my 2 best friends went to college there. It's a beautiful place to spend a Saturday (when it's not painfully hot) and I do enjoy tailgating. We've been in the same spot for a couple of years now and we look forward to seeing our tailgating buddies and neighbors. Nora made it to one game last year and will hopefully make it to a few this year! It is definitely becoming a family tradition and it's one that I am looking forward to embracing :)

These pictures just make me smile. I love the simple little life that we have right now. I love that it is going to be getting quite crazy and hectic very soon as well. We enjoy just hanging out with each other and we love watching Nora learn and play. I am really trying to be intentional about soaking up every minute with this cutie but it is hard. We get so busy so it's nice to just sit in the hall way and play the guitar sometimes :) I am so thankful for Jon and the awesome husband, father, and provider that he is to Nora and I. Sorry this post is all mushy but I'm just feeling very thankful and blessed today and wanted to share!!

This child is very musical so maybe one day I'll have a picture of her actually playing the guitar :)

Hilton Head Island

I really love Hilton Head. I can't pinpoint one certain thing about it and it's kind of an odd place to have such an attraction to, but I do. I love riding bikes around the Island (even though this year I was dying b/c I'm still out of shape from having a baby!), the size of the island (very small and not alot of tourists), and it's just a pretty little island :) Like I said, I have a hard time describing why I like it! We had a wonderful week with my family and we were thrilled Reyn was able to come from CA to spend the week with us. We enjoyed beach time, pool time, bike rides, pony rides, food, shopping, drinks and lots of kid movies :) I took a ton of pictures but these are just a few of my favorites!

Where have we been?.....

....I don't know what I was thinking when I started this. Why did I think I would have time to make weekly updates with a toddler living under our roof? I'm crazy I guess :) Please don't forget about us. I am setting time aside this weekend to update the blog so please hang in there! I know you all are dying to see new pictures of Nora Kate and I promise there will be plenty :) To be continued....

Charleston Aquarium

One of the things on our Charleston "to do" list was the South Carolina Aquarium. We had a rainy weekend so it was a perfect time to go! Nora has also been obsessed with turtles recently so we figured this would be a great place for her to see some up close. Nora enjoyed watching all the fish, looking for turtles and bringing home a new toy. Jon's brother Brian and his fiancée Tiffany spent the weekend with us as well. They did some shopping while we were at the aquarium but we all had a great time at dinner and walking around the Battery! Sorry no pictures of our evening. We knew we were going to get rained on so I didn't want the camera to get ruined :) Nora had fun playing with her Uncle Brian (who she calls "UN B") and soon to be Aunt Tiffany! We hope they come back soon for another visit!
