Last Saturday we decided to do something neither of us had ever done before. Walk the Arthur Ravenel (old Cooper River) Bridge. There is a bridge run every year there but we haven't tried it. I didn't think I would be able to do it at all but it wasn't as bad as I thought. We didn't go the full length because it was so hot but we did make it past the middle :) We met some fun people and couldn't believe how many people walk/ride bikes on there every day. If you are ever in Charleston and get the chance to walk/run the bridge please do it! There are some great views up there and it's just amazing :) There are a couple of places to stop and take a break which are great if you have a little one getting tired of the stroller! Nora was such a trooper but as you can see in the last picture it wore her out! She cuddled up with her two favorites (Minnie and Sophie the Giraffe) and was out like a light! It was such a great morning and we are looking forward to doing it again!
This is a replica of the old bridge. It is made out of the steel they tore down. Pretty cool!
